The Rules of the Hash   Courtesy of Salty Nuts (RA)          Back

1          There are no rules!

2          At the beginning of The Hash there shall be a brief circle-up and The Hare shall explain about any peculiarities of the forthcoming trail.

3          The Hashers shall follow the Trail wherever it may lead!!.........

4          Competitive running is not allowed and The Hash must never be referred to as a running club!

5          At the end of the Hash all the Hashers must gather in the Circle when requested to by the RA.

6          When nominated by the RA a Hasher shall enter the Circle and consume the beverage in one attempt and finish with the receptacle upside-down above their head.

7          No head gear is allowed to be worn inside the Circle.

8          No Hasher may leave the Circle until the RA signals that it has finished.

9          The RA is responsible for interpreting the rules as he/she sees fit and his/her decision is final.

10        If the RA’s decision is disputed then the GM will have the final word.

11        If the GM’s decision is disputed then refer to rule 9.

12        If in doubt about rules 2 to 13 then refer to rule 1.

13        Only RA’s and GM’s are allowed to name Hashers
